LOVE SB IS ABOUT LIVING OUR GOD-GIVEN MARCHING ORDERS TO LOVE EVERYONE, ALWAYS

-ACROSS THE STREET & AROUND THE WORLD!

It is our way of extending God's mercy & love to those living in the margins, to the hurting & the helpless, and to the under-served. We believe that followers of Jesus follow Jesus and that by bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to our community, we can help restore & heal our broken world.

We are continually creating, building, & strengthening partnerships with organizations that want to make a difference together. EVERYONE is invited to jump in!

"Compassion does not originate from our bleeding heart or moral sweat, but from God's mercy

-Romans 9:15 (Message Version)

our love sb partnerships

We partner with many incredible organizations locally & globally who are making powerful impacts in their areas of ministry. Oceanhills is committed to collaborating with these organizations & supporting their visions because we know we are stronger together.

  • Uffizi Order

Uffizi Order and Oceanhills work together to educate our youth & adults about the complexities of homelessness, as well to work together to provide meals, socks, & other needs to those living on the streets in Santa Barbara. Contact Jeff Shaffer at Jeff@uffiziorder.org to get involved & learn more!

  • Habitat For Humanity

Every year, Oceanhills spends time working at the ReStore site of Habitat for Humanity to help them organize goods & products. We also promote & participate in new building projects when possible. Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, & hope. Contact Jon Peterson at jon@sbhabitat.org for more.

  • Young Life

We believe in the mission of Young Life and what the impact they are having in our community. Over the years, different events, clubs, and gatherings have been held in our Downtown Loft. We feel blessed to have several Young Life leaders in our church family.

  • Westmont College

We have a weekly Westmont class that meets in our Downtown Loft, interns from Westmont who are a part of various Ministries, a Sunday shuttle that picks up students on campus to come to service, and many Alumni on our Team.

  • Santa Barbra Rescue Mission

Members of Oceanhills help provide meals, music, and fellowship on a weekly basis to those living at the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission. The Santa Barbara Rescue Mission is a ministry of Christian people bringing physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual resources to all who struggle with homelessness and addiction. To get involved, contact Brandon at brandon@oceanhills.org.

  • International Students, Inc.

Once a year, Oceanhills provides a Thanksgiving meal to the students as they celebrate and continue to make friendships while living in Santa Barbara. ISI, Inc. helps international students have positive experiences while studying in the US, through organizing activities, one of which is hosted weekly at The Loft, and introducing them to international and American friends. For more information on how to partner with a student, contact Tim Notehelfer at tnotehelfer@gmail.com.

  • Transition House, Santa Barbara

Every other month, Community Groups at Oceanhills serve a meal provided by Pascuccis to the families at Transition House, which is a local shelter for families experiencing homelessness.  Every Easter weekend, our Women’s Ministry team puts on an Annual Easter Egg Hunt and party for the children of Transition House, complete with eggs, face painting, story telling, snacks, cookie decorating, & more! For more information & to get involved, contact Sarah Rogstad at sarah.e.rogstad@gmail.com.

  • Noah's Anchorage Youth Crisis Center

Each year, a group from Oceanhills heads over to Noah’s Anchorage and does maintenance and cleaning for the staff and kids staying at the day shelter. At Christmas, we have a church-wide gift event where people purchase items off the Noah’s Anchorage kids’ wish lists… It’s an event that warms our hearts and brightens the spirits of the kids! For more information on how to get involved, contact Mavel from the YMCA at Mavel.Tortoledo@ciymca.org.

  • Team World Vision

Currently, Oceanhills has helped raise over $400,000 for clean water wells in DR Congo. Each year, our Oceanhills family runs or walks the LA Marathon and raises money so that the women and children in the Congo do not have to make the treacherous journey to water sources. In 2017, Okids participated in their own Walk for Water and raised money for kids their own age on the other side of the world. For more information, visit https://www.teamworldvision.org

  • Covenant Kids Congo

Joining together with World Vision, this partnership is already seeing sustainable community development changing the lives of thousands in DR Congo through clean water, education, health, agriculture, economic development and advocacy. Oceanhills families have sponsored children in the Congo for many years, providing resources for each child’s food, education, shelter, and family. To sponsor a child, visit
