Anti-Human Trafficking Efforts

April 1, 2025 - April 30, 2032

Oceanhills is now a member of the Santa Barbara Human Trafficking Interfaith Collaborative and the City Neighborhood Action Collaborative, working to prevent human trafficking, support survivors, and empower communities through education and action.

In the past, we have partnered with organizations like Noah’s Anchorage, Olive Crest (Hope Refuge), and Kingdom Causes, all of whom are doing vital work in this area.

Now, we’re focused on joining the expanding our efforts to raise awareness, provide resources for prevention, and create a stronger network of support for those impacted by human trafficking in our community.

The Santa Barbara Human Trafficking Interfaith Collaborative:

Coordinates, educates, and empowers faith-based communities to informed local action in the fight against human trafficking in order to become communities of love, purpose and belonging.

The City Neighborhood Action Collaborative: Neighborhood Action Collaboratives focus on partnering to carry out the 5 Ps (Partnerships, Prevention, Protection, Prosecution, and Policy) essential for ending human trafficking in the local neighborhood, while having a view to ending human trafficking throughout the county.

This is an exciting new initiative for Oceanhills, and we’re building it from the ground up! If you’re passionate about this issue, and interested in shaping meaningful events or want to get involved in another way, we’d love for you to join us.
